BK Ku
BK Ku is a talented artist from the Blue Mountains whose work is deeply influenced by his Korean heritage. He incorporates Hanji - a traditional Korean paper made from mulberry tree bark - into his artistic practice, creating pieces rich in texture and meaning.
A hallmark of BK’s work is his recurring use of the sun and the fluid, elegant lines of fish, adding depth and a sense of movement to his compositions.
BK’s abstract landscapes are bold yet exude a gentle, tactile quality, showcasing his distinct style.
His latest floral works take a different direction, featuring soft, abstract blooms infused with his signature sun motif and layered colour changes.
