Alfred William Strutt (1856 Tanaraki, New Zealand – 1924 Sussex, UK) was a well-known British painter and engraver. He worked in oil, watercolor and pastel.
He was born in New Zealand where his father, William Strutt (1825-1915) was also an artist. Alfred spent his first years in Australia with his family.
Alfred William Strutt studied and exhibited at the Royal Academy of London in 1877 and was elected in 1889. Many of his paintings were recorded.
