Frank Boyle

Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1960, Frank Boyle has resided in Australia since 1982. He graduated with a BFA from the National Art School in Sydney in 2000 and has since held several successful solo exhibitions in Sydney, along with participating in numerous group shows. As both a landscape and figure painter, Frank draws inspiration from his travels across Australia, India, and Europe. These experiences have become integral to his studio practice. "I respond primarily to what I see and the emotions it stirs within me. If I'm satisfied with the work I create, then hopefully it speaks for itself."
