Lilianne Ivins
A painter from the Blue Mountains, inspired by her love of wilderness and travel. Her moody paintings explore the beauty and eeriness of the landscape, including misty fern valleys, waterfalls and hazy skies. Her love of the Blue Mountains’ bush is reflected strongly in her blue and green palette. “Even when my paintings aren’t directly about the mountains, their influence is always there.”
Lilianne graduated from the National Art School, and in 2020 won the Belle ArtStart Art Prize. In 2021 she had her first solo show at Studio Gallery Group in Waterloo, and in 2022 she won the Blue Mountains Art Prize.
Recently Lilianne is developing her skills more in realist painting, and exploring her love of photography.
In her spare time she enjoys abseiling, rock climbing, and sewing.
