A puffin with attitude — and a message.

This striking work fuses natural realism with vivid symbolism, featuring a puffin adorned in a red bandana that reads “RESIST.” Surrounded by golden blooms, ants, bees, and spider webs, the bird takes on an almost saintly presence with a glowing gold halo behind its head.

A bold and playful piece that speaks to environmental guardianship, resilience, and quiet rebellion — all delivered with electric colour and meticulous detail

We the people are one and we are a mighty force to be reckoned with. Be forewarned. Armed with righteousness, we do not bow down to would be dictators or listen to fake news propaganda. Try to undermine the people, to terrorise them into subordination. Now let’s see just how far those tactics get you. United, we the people are formidable. We are the resistance, and we will never surrender.

To California and to those who continue to protest the deplorable treatment of immigrants and minority groups, I applaud you. Let justice triumph and the collective voice of the people resonate. We will be heard.

Puffins are colony birds that gather and nest en masse on rocky cliffs and islands and as a group they protect and nurture their young. They have come to symbolise society and emphasize the importance of unity and working as a collective. These little black and white birds show us through example how numbers give strength and how together, we are better equipped to overcome all of life’s storms.  Adriana Seserko
